PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
All players must be 17 years
of age and senior in high school at the date of their first game,
You must be 170 pounds or 17 years old to play offensive line.
 
ROSTERS
There are no limitations to roster size or players that can dress
for the game. [NEW]
 
There is a maximum of THREE players per team that play in the
WNYFFL. This is a ROSTER limit. You cannot rotate WNYFFL players on
a week to week basis. Penalty for exceeding the limit is 14 points
per player. This penalty can be assessed up to 17 days after the
game is played.
 
New players cannot join a team for the playoffs.
 
PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY
Repeated misconduct as determined by the head official, ministry
leaders and Pastors may disqualify you from the playoffs. This is a
FUN league…..Just behave.
 
JERSEYS
Home team wears designated jersey color. Visitor MUST wear alternate
color
POCKETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON SHORTS / PANTS
 
GAME START/CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Christian Education is 30 minutes before the game
Any team member not present AT START OF
Christian Education that person will sit out the first half of the
game If you have less than 8 players attend Christian Ed, every
player that plays that did not attend costs you 7 points. EXAMPLE: 5
players at CE. 3 arrive late. You are down 21- 0 at the star of the
game. Players over 8 sit the first half.

ENFORCEMENT IS AT THE LEAGUE COORDINATORS DISCRETION.
FORFEIT   If you do not have 7 players 5 minutes after scheduled
kickoff, the game is a forfeit.

CLEAN-UP
Each team is responsible to make sure that the sideline is CLEAN at
the end of the game
Teams with the last game ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE for the cleanliness of
the sidelines
PENALTY: 
If complaints are received, BOTH TEAMS PLAYING THE FINAL GAME OF THE
DAY WILL LOSE 7 POINTS THE NEXT WEEK.
Second Offense: Loss of 14 points

Spot O Running between the guards Running plays between the guards must originate at least 3 YARDS
BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. The QB cannot line up under center and
run directly forward. The QB cannot line up under center and
transfer the ball back to the center. THERE ARE NO CENTER SNEAKS.
Ball returns to the line of scrimmage. Loss of down.
Spot D Stripping the ball Punch strike. strip. steal. or attempt to steal the ball from a
player in possession
Spot - 10 O Diving Diving to advance ball is an illegal advancement
Spot - 10 O Flag Guard Runners shall not flag guard by using their hands, arms, or fail to
deny the opportunity for an opponent to pull or remove the flag
belt. Flag guarding includes:
Spot - 10 O Flag Guard Swinging the hand or arm over the flag belt to prevent an opponent
from deflagging
Spot - 10 O Flag Guard Place the ball in possession over the flag belt to prevent an
opponent from deflagging

progress of a runner when in the act of removing the flag or making
a legal tag
Spot + 10 O-D Tripping Tripping of a Player (including the ball carrier) - Tripping
includes any sliding with your feet out in front of you.
TD D Unsportsmanlike  If a trip or tackle to save a touchdown occurs it will be an
